Between Minchah And Maariv
As we have already mentioned, in many synagogues, the Minchah service takes place immediately before sunset. In these situations, a brief break takes place after Minchah until the beginning of Maariv, which is recited at nightfall.
Every individual should schedule a Torah study session during the time between the two prayer services, which will enable him to fulfill the mitzvah of studying Torah by day and by night.
In many synagogues, it is customary to “bridge” the gap between the two prayer services, with the congregants remaining in the synagogue for a brief learning session in Jewish law, the Bible with Rashi’s commentary, the Talmud, the Midrash, or other subject matter.
Even if you recited the Minchah service earlier in the afternoon, it is still extremely important to set a time for yourself—either before or after the Maariv prayers—for Torah study.
